Organizers – Myanmar Underwater Federation & Myanmar Dive Center

In 2018, Myanmar Underwater Federation (MUF) organized the second Ngwe Saung Beach Clean-up. Since this was the 2^nd event, it garnered more attention from the audience, with the total attendance reaching up to 200 enthusiastic participants. Public figure, Wai Lu Kyaw also attended and actively participated. The main mission of this campaign is to protect and raise awareness about the destruction of coral reefs and to maintain coastal ecosystem of the nature.

We, Myanmar Dive Center (MDC), proudly participated, with our staff actively involved in beach and underwater clean-up efforts, as in the first Ngwe Saung Beach Clean-up. We strongly believe that beach clean-ups contribute to preserving the beauty of coastal areas and protecting marine life, while also raising awareness about environmental conservation and encouraging community involvement in keeping our beaches clean and safe.
