The 4th Ngwe Saung Beach Clean-up and Coral Conservation Awareness event in 2023 is being coordinated by the Myanmar Dive Center and is organized by the Myanmar Underwater Federation. The event aims to communicate the importance of keeping the beach clean and protecting the environment and ecosystems in the area. The event is being held as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. A media conference would be held on January 20, 2023 and the main clean-up event will take place on February 18, 2023. The event will be participated by representatives from different stakeholders including the Myanmar Hotelier Association, Myanmar Tourism Association, Burmese Influencers and Bloggers, Myanmar Restaurants Association, professionals, Marine University of Pathein, media, and divers.

The Myanmar Underwater Federation has organized 5 committees to organize this event: Sponsorship Committee, Invitation Committee, VIP Committee, Venue Committee and Supporting Committee. Each committee will be responsible for specific tasks that will contribute to the success of the event. This kind of organization will help to involve different organizations and stakeholders to work together for a common goal, which is to protect and conserve the environment and coral reefs.
